That’s a compliment that is hard to take. 
Remember, it comes from a good place.
And that place must be messed up
because there is no way
I write like that. No way.
…or do I? This compliment is really
starting to suck. I work so hard
not to sound like that poet. 
Yet I’m falling into it while trying to back away.
Falling headlong into the prophesied mediocrity.
Writing myself into oblivion.
All by my own hand.
Damn it! This is so greek.
